I’m in the process of finishing my manuscript and deciding on editing options. I’ve been searching for book editors near me because I like the idea of working closely with someone local. Does location really matter when choosing an editor, or is remote collaboration just as effective? For authors who have worked with local editors, did it improve communication or the overall editing experience compared to working online?
