Is Plinko-X purely luck-based or is there strategy involved?

I’m trying to understand how Plinko-X works and whether winning is completely random or if there’s room for skill and strategy. Since the game involves dropping balls or chips onto a pegged board where they bounce through obstacles, it seems like luck plays a big role. But I’ve also heard that the placement of the drop and the timing might affect the outcome. Can careful planning, observation, or repeated practice actually improve your chances of landing on high multipliers, or is Plinko-X really just a game of pure chance?
