Why do doctors prefer Amoxyclav 625 mg over normal antibiotics?

I’ve noticed that a lot of doctors prescribe Amoxyclav 625 mg when infections don’t improve with initial treatment. Is there a specific reason for that?

From what I’ve read, it seems to work against resistant bacteria because of its dual-action formula. It’s often used for things like sinus infections, UTIs, or even dental infections.

Would love to hear from someone who understands the science behind it or has used it personally. Does it really make that much of a difference?
